What we are looking for.

Be a part of the crew at Heritage Design, K-W's premier deck & fence company. As a member

of our office staff you will be responsible for general administrative duties including processing files, managing emails, database management, and customer service. We are searching for an organized, friendly and task-driven individual willing to work in a team atmosphere within our existing systems.

Responsibilities and Job Duties

  • reply to customer enquiries and appointment requests via email and phone

  • file preparation, including locates

  • data entry and management of Excel spreadsheets and Asana task lists

  • deal with suppliers and municipal building departments

  • some bookkeeping tasks

  • general administrative support for management team and estimators

Requirements for Success

  • competent, logical and system-based with a positive attitude

  • experience with the MS Office suite, Google calendars, Adobe Acrobat, Asana is an asset

  • customer service experience is an asset

  • construction knowledge is an asset, but not a requirement – willing to train

  • strong communication skills

Compensation

  • competitive salary based on experience - between $16 and $17 per hour

  • full time weekday hours – 40 - 45 hours per week
